Wall tiles

Our showrooms stock a wide range of wall tiles, including porcelain, ceramic, glass, natural stone and mosaics, with many products manufactured at our Exeter factory using traditional techniques and glazes. Whether you want to cover your whole bathroom, a feature wall or create a splashback in the kitchen, our collection offers subtle shades, vibrant patterns and everything in between. Choose from traditional field tiles, brick tiles in glossy or crackle effects, patterned patchwork tiles, large format glass, metallic shades, contemporary decorative tiles and much more.

Field Tiles

The field tile has been on trend for decades, its humble shape and size makes it a timeless choice for kitchens and bathrooms. Keep it simple with whites, creams and greys or if you want to make more of a statement try a deep red or Lime green for a rich hue. For extra detailing try teaming with one of our mouldings or trims.

Original Style was initially set up in 1986 to make tiles for cast iron fireplaces, however it soon became apparent that tiles were being used in other areas, particularly in the USA where they began appearing in luxury bathrooms!

Brick Tiles

The brick tile first became popular when they were used throughout the subways of New York in the early 1900’s, this is also why it is often referred to as a ‘subway tile’.

Our brick tiles come in many sizes, colours, effects and materials to suit rooms of all different styles. Choose from rustic or smooth, rectified edges in ceramic, porcelain, glass or stone depending on your preferred look – try a bevelled metro tile for a classic Art Deco feel.

After you have chosen your style you can decide how you want them to be installed, choose from a traditional offset pattern or try a herringbone style.

Patterned Tiles

Patterned patchwork tiles are the perfect way to inject a bit of personality into a large or small area; they help to create an informal look for a cosy, relaxed and inviting space. To ensure the look appears random, lay the tiles out before you fix them to make sure that other patterns don’t appear within the combination.

Large Format Glass

Large format glass is one of the most practical tile materials you can use in your home. Reflective, glossy and easy to clean – what’s not to love? Contemporary spaces lend themselves to large format tiles in any shade you fancy and when teamed with sleek modern kitchen cabinets, you can create a beautiful stylish kitchen.

Large format glass is also incredibly practical as fewer grout lines mean less maintenance and cleaning commitments and the glossy glass is easy to wipe clean.

Metallic Shades

When it comes to creating a metallic look in your home, tiles are a fantastic choice; they can completely transform a space whether you choose a stunning feature wall or just a subtle glimmer of metal. Try using a copper splashback to inject a warm glow, even on the dullest of days.

Industrial style interiors also work well with metallic tiles, brushed copper and metallic steel large format tiles are ideal for creating this look and are a really practical way of using this style as the look won’t change over time.

Decorative Tiles

Our contemporary decorative tiles come in a variety of materials, from glass to polished stone. A reflective finish and straight, rectified edges add a sense of uniformity that has long been associated with modern interiors. Using large format tiles is a great way of creating this style as it results in fewer grout lines to distract the eye.  Choose from dramatic glossy black to textured modern waves – decorative tiles can still be contemporary!
